GeoDataCubes store, index, and provide access to multi-dimensional geospatial data. GeoDataCubes support transformations such as as resampling, subsetting, aggregation, filtering, band arithmetics, processing algorithms as well as complex workflows, queried by multiple data access mechanisms defined in OGC API building blocks. GeoDataCubes return data outputs in suitable negotiated formats.
As such, GeoDataCubes provide a mechanism to put together a number of different kinds of data based on common characteristics. These common characteristics include space and time, but include also common thematic, phenomenonlogical, or property axes.
